Requirements
You should have strong analytic skills.
Having some programming skills (e.g., Python, Matlab) is highly recommended.
If you’re a KAIST undergraduate, you’re strongly encouraged to take my undergraduate Game Theory course (BTM415) and apply for the URP program under my guidance before applying for graduate programs.
Degree Programs
BTM (Business and Technology Management). MS/PhD https://btm.kaist.ac.kr
GSMV (Graduate School of Metaverse). MS/PhD https://meta.kaist.ac.kr
GGGS (Graduate School of Green Growth & Sustainability) MS/PhD https://gggs.kaist.ac.kr
(Please don’t ask me about the differences between the programs or degree requirements.)
I’m a full-time faculty member at BTM, and participating in GSMV and GGGS. Thus, I slightly prefer students who apply for BTM programs unless you’re planning to do metaverse/ESG-specific research.
How to apply
You should formally apply via the KAIST admission system. Except for the BTM MS program (where you can choose your advisor during your first semester), you should contact me first before you apply. When you contact me, please send me your CV and any relevant materials (e.g., personal statement/research proposal, transcripts).
